Description

ENTA supports ALL curricula by teaching through the Arts. We work in all subject areas -- Social Studies, ELA, STEAM, Art, Physical Ed., etc. In ENTA programs, students are empowered to express and demonstrate their knowledge and mastery through a creative process in visual, process or performing arts. ENTA works collaboratively with classroom teachers and professional teaching artists to custom design arts-in-education programming that follows the grade level curricula -- each program is unique to the teacher-artist team to fulfill desired outcomes and goals of the teachers. We work with all grade levels PK - 12. Our customized programs allow students and teachers to experience learning in active, problem-solving, experimental educational environments that produce measurable results, public sharing of the work, and enhance the engagement of students and the enthusiasm of teachers. We are very proud of the work we do and are eager to work with more schools. Example programs: A Book's Journey (4th grade ELA writing), Embody Art: Anatomy & Figure Drawing (MS Science; HS Art), Improv & the Salem Witch Trials (MS Social Studies), Geometry in Landscape Drawing (4th grade Math), Taking A Stand: Art for Social Change (8th grade ELA), Books on the Boards (K-5 theatre), Energy Science Show (4th grade Science), Shakespeare workshops (MS ELA), Improv workshops (MS/HS).
