Black Girls Don't Get Love is a book and multimedia coming of age brand for girls of color. Our mission is to use media to turn silence into language and change the way Black women and girls are perceived in society. Our non-Profit arm, Black Girls WILL Get Love, Inc. facilitates all of our philanthropic Programs such as the acclaimed Black Girls Don't Get Love Prom, the Black Girls Don't Get Love Slumber Party, the Black Girls Don't Get Love Outdoor Exploration, the Black Girls Don't Get Love Film Training Program and the black girls don't get love screenwriting workshops and labs. Our programs are a creative and engaging approach to addressing DEI and low literacy rates.

Caroga Arts Collective is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to presenting world-class, interdisciplinary arts experiences in the Southern Adirondacks. Through over fifty performances and events annually, Caroga Arts brings together artists across genres to collaborate and engage with diverse audiences. Based at historic Sherman's Park in Caroga Lake—a cherished cultural gathering place with a rich legacy—Caroga Arts draws inspiration from its setting to create accessible, community-centered artistic and educational experiences. Its signature programs—including the Caroga Lake Music Festival, the Strings Project & Arts Collaborative Education (SPACE) Program, the InterArts Symposium, the Myhil Film Series, and artist residencies—serve as platforms for both artistic excellence and community connection. The author/illustrator of over 30 children’s books, Eric Velasquez is also the recipient of the NAACP Image Award for outstanding literature of children. His pre-K - 12 programs are admired by students and teachers alike-- Eric is as good a storyteller in person as he is on the page. During his 45-60 minute presentations, Eric generally relates his personal dual-heritage experience growing up in Spanish Harlem, accompanied by the autobiographical illustrations and music featured in his books. He also explains his writing and artistic process from brainstorming through revision, culminating in a live portrait session (projected on screen so every student can see), which is accompanied by a Q&A.

The Animal Menagerie, written by Francine Dingeman and illustrated by Marta Maszkiewicz, is an enchanting A to Z picture book filled with captivating characters from the animal kingdom for children ages 4-8. This book is written to entertain and educate by introducing dozens of creative new words into a child's vocabulary. Children are invited to embark on a wild and whimsical journey through The Animal Menagerie! Each letter of the alphabet comes to life with vibrant illustrations and story vignettes, making early literacy development a delightful adventure. The visual imagery, engaging rhymes, and clever context comprehension of The Animal Menagerie will spark a child's curiosity and imagination as they learn new vocabulary words and animal names in a fun and unforgettable way. Twenty to thirty minute visits to grades pre-k and k include readings from select pages of the A to Z picture book and a short discussion surrounding each animal character. First to third grade presentations include a full reading of the book followed by a personal account of the writing/publishing journey with a focus on inspiring young writers and encouraging them along their individual writing paths. The opportunity to project the pages of the book as it is read, so children can view the illustrations along with the reading, allows for an optimally engaging presentation, sparking a child's interest and curiosity as each new animal character story is shared.

The Story Ship takes audiences on a one-of-a-kind interactive adventure. Each performance blends comedy, theater, magic, music, robots, animation, and immersive video to create an unforgettable experience for kids. Students don’t just watch—they actively participate by solving puzzles, helping with magic tricks, dancing to upbeat music, and interacting with animated characters throughout the story. With a giant video screen and incredible props, every show feels like stepping into a larger-than-life world. Bring on the Spectrum (BOTS) welcomes friends of ALL ages and abilities to join us for fun activities! BOTS has a 5,000 square foot sensory gym with swings, slides, a quiet room, foosball, air hockey and more. BOTS is also a community space, offering social groups and clubs, such as art, personal training/fitness, Minecraft Club, Lego Club, Tween Scene and Teen Takeover.

Princesses, Heroes, and holiday shows with themes of anti-bullying and foster cognitive learning for kids in grades K-5. - **Royal Tea Party Show**: Features favorite royals, teaching grace, intelligence, bravery, and anti-bullying. - **Hero Training Show**: Focuses on cognitive learning skills, anti-bullying, and strength. - **Elf on the Shelf Holiday Show**: Perfect for the holidays, includes cognitive learning, anti-bullying themes, and interactive singing and dancing. - **Gill the Merboy Show**: Based on Tony Ardolino's book, featuring an underwater adventure with puppets, live mermaids, and music, emphasizing problem-solving and anti-bullying.

Ramon Gil is the award-winning artist and writer of THE WHIZ KIDS FROM DARPA. A children's graphic novel about teen scientists who go on funny STEM based adventures. Ramon also teaches comics making to children and adults and can lecture about the difference between Comic Books and Graphic Novels which was his MFA thesis. Ramon also organizes workshops, panel discussions and comic cons having done so for The Fashion Institute of Technology and the Gillen Brewer School.

We offer in-person and virtual Professional Development, supporting early childhood educators to thoughtfully integrate musical learning and play into their classroom setting to support literacy and language development, social-emotional skills, and fostering a positive, loving classroom environment where all children can thrive. We offer a digital, supplemental, instructional resource that provides teachers with over 300 research-based, high quality musical learning and play activities that are specifically curated for the early childhood classroom, appropriate for Morning Circle, Transitions, Large and Small Group Instruction, Nap time, and End of Day. We offer a Certification Pathway for educators interested in additional learning and support around integrating musical learning and play into their daily classroom routine.
