This interactive bilingual assembly exposes students to the impact of Latin American music and culture and the power of embracing cultural diversity through dance and entertainment. Tracing our way through Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Panama, and Cuba, RXN shows students the diversity in styles and culture throughout the Latin American continent. Students will watch and participate in thrilling dance performances created to inspire students to push boundaries and embrace diversity. Dancers and size of team will vary depending on location. Two dancers minimum.

I'm an author/illustrator who presents to elementary school students about writing and illustrating humorous picture books, graphic novels, and chapter books. Each of my programs features multimedia presentations about how I make both fiction and non-fiction books. I include a mix of info about my writing and illustrating processes as well as exciting, interactive drawing demonstrations for all ages.

I offer folk & traditional, Adirondack, and personal stories. My focus tends to be on caring for the world and those human and more-than-human who dwell therein.

Daniel Carlton is a multiple award-winning actor, storyteller, playwright, poet, lyricist, director, and teaching artist. The BPO Music for Youth Concert series offers educational concerts during the school day to introduce students to the best orchestral repertoire, with a focus on music learning concepts being taught in the classroom, and active participation through interactive program elements for students in Grades 1-8.
